WALTER MAGAZINE | THE DIAPER TRAIN

There's a new train in town and it carries extremely precious cargo...diapers!  Co-directors Allene Adams and Cameron Ellerbe are helping to reach as many parents in need as possible with through their program, The Diaper Train, which is affiliated with Saint Saviour's Center on Tucker Street in downtown Raleigh.  These ladies and other volunteers give tirelessly of themselves every Tuesday and Thursday by providing diapers, wipes, and gently used books to families in need.  We were so moved by the organization's mission and efforts that we signed up to become volunteers to help give to the hundreds served in a two-hour period.

Adams and Ellerbe are always in need of volunteers and donated diapers. If you or someone you know would like to volunteer and/or donate, please contact The Diaper Train.   Check out the online version of the story for the November issue of Walter Magzine as well as a few of the original images captured from the shoot below...

PARADING THE HOMES | STUART JONES STYLE

The parade is here! No, not the Thanksgiving parade, but the Parade of Homes!  Every year for the past 48 years, Wake County's burgeoning homebuilders showcase their newest and very best in floor plans, products, features, and new technology to the thousands upon thousands of house hunters and fans that navigate around the area to view the Parade of Homes.  This year, 190 homes were prepared for your eyes only and we had an opportunity to capture the Stuart Jones Custom Homes project, located on Faircloth inside the beltline, staged by Warte' Designs.

FALLING FOR LOGAN'S LOVE

I fall for it every time: the Fall season, that is. It brings a variety of wonderful and refreshing elements and this past weekend, Logan's Landscaping held its Fall Festival near downtown Raleigh at Seaboard Station.  With the beautiful nursery finds, festive self-decorated pumpkins and gourds, and the Farmer Logan imaginative hayride through the property, Logan's warmly welcomed the community into their one stop garden shop to enjoy all things lovely.  The festival ended on the infamous "Old MacDonald" tune just before the pitter patter of rainfall closed the curtain on the day's activities...
