O CHRISTMAS TREE...FARM!

O Christmas Tree...O Christmas Tree....It's truly the most wonderful time of the year for most who carol over all things Christmas.  We were out and about on our date day frolicking around Lafayette Village after having lunch and stumbled across this storied Christmas tree farm, Parker's Big Meadow Mountain Christmas Trees.  We met with one of the owners of the family owned and operated business and shared our story with them.  After a brief conversation and complimentary exchanges, we were off and away through the trees, clicking and hiding...hiding and clicking.  If you are still in need of a beautiful Christmas tree, go visit one of their four locations.  Tell our new friends at Parker's that Khris and Carla of Timeless Photojournalism sent you :)

WALTER MAGAZINE | DECEMBER COVER + THE LITTLE HEN

Christmas has already begun for Timeless Photojournalism!  We have been blessed with being featured photographers for Walter Magazine for a few months, but this month's shoot is significantly special.  Our photograph was selected as the December-January cover and several of our images accompany the sweet and savory story about The Little Hen's creation of a charming gingerbread home.

We graciously thank Jesma Reynolds with Walter Magazine for allowing us to showcase our talents and continually expand our creativiity via the lens.  Talk about one of the best, early Christmas gifts ever...

Below are the images from the Little Hen shoot in preparation for the 11th Annual Gingerbread Benefit being held at the Umstead Hotel and Spa.  We wish Pastry chef Sam Squiers and The Little Hen staff all the best during tonight's event!!

KHRIS' FIRST TURKEY + CARLA'S GREENS + A PRAYER BONE

Thanksgiving 2013 meant so much for us this year as it was a holiday of many firsts.  Khris cooked his very first turkey, we celebrated with family without having to travel to multiple homes, and decided to put up our Christmas decorations for the first time before Thanksgiving (so excited about Christmas that we'll have to do a separate blog dedicated to decorations!!).  The holiday seasons brings such fond memories, festive traditions, and scrumptious eats.  We pray (note the photo of our wish prayer bone) your Thanksgiving was just as enjoyable with your family, friends, or loved ones.
