Our recent assignment led us to the downtown
Durham Convention Center to capture the story of an annual fundraising gala
event themed "Oh, What a Night!" to benefit Duke Homecare & Hospice. The night was full of
festiveness, celebration and delight as philanthropists enjoyed dinner and drinks
and a live and silent auction filled with an array of auction items. The
capstone of the gala event was the music experience provided by The Embers
featuring Craig Woolard and guests danced and danced until some literally
danced their shoes off!
Thanks to Dee Blake for allowing us to share in this benefit to help provide quality hospice care services. As a recent beneficiary of hospice care services for our dad, we are grateful to organizations and supports that give tirelessly to assist patients with a better quality of care.
