WALTER MAGAZINE | GIVING BACK THROUGH FAITH

It's beginning to look a lot like a beautiful new headquarters! This time, our lens and perspective were assigned to capture the story behind the Wake Interfaith Hospitality Network (WIHN) recent remodeling project.  Courtesy of Remodelers Council of the Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County,  WIHN received a much needed facelift to continue providing citizens of the Wake County area with resources and tools necessary to assist during their time of transition.  Thank you to the wonderful team at WIHN and the Remodelers Council for their time.  Here's to a new look and new chapter.

OH, WHAT A NIGHT!

Our recent assignment led us to the downtown Durham Convention Center to capture the story of an annual fundraising gala event themed "Oh, What a Night!" to benefit Duke Homecare & Hospice.  The night was full of festiveness, celebration and delight as philanthropists enjoyed dinner and drinks and a live and silent auction filled with an array of auction items. The capstone of the gala event was the music experience provided by The Embers featuring Craig Woolard and guests danced and danced until some literally danced their shoes off!

Thanks to Dee Blake for allowing us to share in this benefit to help provide quality hospice care services.  As a recent beneficiary of hospice care services for our dad, we are grateful to organizations and supports that give tirelessly to assist patients with a better quality of care.

And, Oh, What a Night! it was....

WALTER MAGAZINE | DEBUT OF WALTER'S EVENTS + GIRLS ON THE RUN

What do authors and runners have in common?  Quite a lot as compared to one's preconceived notions.  As we begin the month of spring blooms, basketball madness, and women's history, we're excited to share with you our latest editorial features in the March issue of Walter Magazine.

This past month, we snapped photos of some of the best and brightest local authors during the Sir Walter Raleigh namesake's debut event.  As we navigated the bustling afterschool car pool lines of Underwood Elementary, we successfully reached our other location assignment to tell the photojournalistic story of The Girls on the Run (Triangle region).  And you will see that these young girls are focused, inspired, and on the run.

Now for our future engineers, judges, artists, philanthropists, scientists, teachers, architects and athletes...
