FEARRINGTON OH FEARRINGTON!

From the yummy food at the Granary restaurant, to the uniqueness of the property itself, Fearrington Village in nearby Pittsboro, NC is one of the local wonders. At Fearrington guests, critics, and celebrities rave about their delightful food, beautiful botanical garden areas, and quaint property amenities including: boutiques, spa, shops, bookstore, coffee lounge and restaurants.  We strolled along the red brick sidewalks with Raegan Olivia in tow, basking in the sun and parading beside the scenic flower beds and blooming trees in the afternoon breeze.  It was a picture perfect afternoon in which we carved out a few hours just celebrating God's goodness and glory.

Next, we stopped off at the Garden Room before heading over to dinner.  This cozy escape was such an unexpected, relaxing atmosphere where we nestled by the fire listening to classical music. Surrounded by windows that all seemed to salute the outdoor views, we were able to get refreshed, and then decided to retire over to the Granary restaurant for dinner. And here is where the experience really took off!  It's not that we weren't already having a wonderful time strolling along the property and admiring the scenery, but once we were graciously greeted and seated by the staff, we perused the menu and ordered....and then...action....

Khris selected the buttermilk southern fried chicken with mac and cheese and broccolini, while I chose the falafel burger with parmesan truffled French fries. Then of course, there was dessert!  When we saw the dessert tray being sent down to another table, their presentation immediately confirmed our decision to indulge as well.  We selected the homemade ice cream sandwich and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD!  The waitress said that it was made over in the Fearrington House five star restaurant, and let me just say this, the chef definitely knows that his food is top notch!  Like, it was completely evident that he was a wiz behind the stove. Khris even salivated over his meal while paying complements to the chef. It was confirmed twice over by him saying that he would come back again just to eat there.  THEIR FOOD WAS SIMPLY AMAZEBALLS!!!
